Heli Werk is a small, highly experienced team based in Karlsruhe, Germany, with deep roots in helicopter engineering, certification and manufacturing.
Our team combines hands-on aviation experience with regulatory expertise across the lifecycle of helicopter modifications — from engineering and certification coordination to product realisation.
As an EASA Part 21G Production Organisation, Heli Werk manufactures, assembles and releases approved aviation products and components under controlled production conditions with EASA Form 1.

Heli Werk was founded by Joachim Kies, who is responsible for the company’s technical and strategic direction.
“My focus has always been on aviation projects where engineering, certification and practical implementation come together.
Throughout my career, I have been responsible for development and certification projects from the initial concept through to regulatory approval.
