Heli Werk is a small, highly experienced team based in Karlsruhe, Germany, with deep roots in helicopter engineering, certification and manufacturing.
We take personal responsibility for our work and focus on long-term, reliable solutions.
Our team combines hands-on aviation experience with regulatory expertise across the full lifecycle of helicopter modifications — from engineering and certification to product realisation.

Heli Werk is currently establishing its own EASA Part 21G production capability, enabling the controlled manufacturing and delivery of certified helicopter products.

Heli Werk was founded by Joachim Kies, who is responsible for the company’s technical and strategic direction.
“My focus has always been on aviation projects where engineering, certification and practical implementation come together.
Throughout my career, I have been responsible for development and certification projects from the initial concept through to regulatory approval.
